An Afghanistan Restaurant located on Duluth, Montreal approached me to update their image. I was inspired by the beautiful mountain scenery of Afghanistan where this famous gate is standing. I chose to go with the accordion format to reflect the layers of mountains. The colors also reflect the contrast between their desert mountains and colorful fabrics. My intention to help the people at the restaurant to have the full experience of the food and cultural atmosphere of Afghanistan was successfully done.
